Cravings...

Cravings are such a hassle! Especially when you don't have anything that you're craving! I guess that's why they call them cravings. I suppose if you DID have everything you craved, it wouldn't be a craving..right?

I've had so many cravings recently. They always come at the most random times too! Recently, I've wanted Rice Krispie Treats, chocolate chip cookies, and the worst one that keeps coming back and back and back again is.....Hershey Kisses. I just can't get them out of my mind! Other times it's donuts or some other type of chocolate. It's horrible! It's just a bunch of sweet stuff that I want! It's killing me!

I usually try to eat something healthy instead. I like to eat apples and carrots instead, so that's been helpful. Just have to make sure that I keep my stockpile up!

However, yesterday I had the hugest craving for some cheese. Not the yucky shredded cheese we get from Costco (the smell is not very pleasant to me right now), not the yucky fake cheese for sandwiches, but I really wanted some real, yummy, block cheese. And, I really wanted a yummy homemade ham sandwich. Luckily for me I had to go to the grocery store anyway to get a few things and since David was close to the house, he said he would pick us up and we could all go. I got my cheese, but as we were loading the car, I realized that we had forgotten to buy bread....a necessity for sandwiches, but David assured me we had enough bread for at least 2 sandwiches. I wasn't quite so sure. In the end, he was right. HOWEVER, I hadn't defrosted any of the lunch meat we had, so I didn't get my ham sandwich after all. Instead, I had a tomato and cheese sandwhich with a side of apple and carrots. It was the yummiest thing I had eaten all day!

I took the meat out to defrost last night thinking I would eat it for lunch today, but as lunch time rolled around, I didn't want the meat. HAHA! Go figure. Oh well. David will have to eat the meat. I'm sure he won't have any complaints about it either.

Anyway...today is Mother's Day in Mexico. Very exciting! Except, I totally forgot, so I didn't get my mom anything. I guess a phone call will have to suffice for this year.

I don't think there is anything else that is exciting enough to report about. Oh! Except for the fact my grandparents got back from the mission today! Whoo-hoo!! We'll see if they'll actually stay put this time! This was mission number 4 for them and they are getting up there in their years!

Other than that...it's been a pretty normal day!
